The best way to keep up with MHA-A news and events - and other information and announcements related to mental health is the MHA-A newsletter and email updates - one of the benefits of membership.

Mental health is too often overshadowed by physical health.

Our Vision

Mental Health Ameriica-Augusta (MHAA) is part of the nation's oldest and largest community-based network dedicated to helping all Americans live mentally healthier lives.

MHA-A's mission is simple: To be a catalyst for good mental health and appropriate treatment of those who suffer from a mental illness in our community. We do this by Advocatingfor changes in policy through collaboration withelected and appointed officials, and with other advocacy groups; by Educating the public and providing critical information about mental health and mental illness; and by delivering urgently needed Programs & Services.
